In a press release issued on October 23, 2012, CVB Financial Corp. (the “Company”) announced that Mr. George Borba, founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, had passed away. The Board of Directors of the Company has named Mr. Ronald O. Kruse, Vice Chairman and founding director, as acting Chairman, until a successor is named shortly.

The press release announcing the passing of Mr. George Borba is attached to this filing as Exhibit 99.1.
