OPES PRIME GROUP LTD UPDATE

Further to Buka Gold’s ASX announcement on 4 April 2008, ANZ has advised that 1,834,593 of Buka Gold’s ordinary shares and 510,000 of Buka Gold’s listed options were subject to ANZ’s sell down. Buka Gold advises that these securities have now all been sold.

Buka Gold confirms that it is otherwise not affected in any way by the reported difficulties at Opes Prime Group Ltd or Opes Prime Group’s arrangements with ANZ.
