ASX ANNOUNCEMENT, 14 AUGUST 2008

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 708A(5) OF THE CORPORATIONS ACT

Buka Gold Limited (ASX Code: BKG) ( Buka Gold ) hereby gives notice under section 708A(5)(e) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (the Act ) that Buka Gold has issued 9 million fully paid ordinary shares in accordance with the Underwriting Agreement for its recent 1 for 3 non-renounceable pro rata rights issue.

Buka Gold advises that:

(1) the securities were issued without disclosure to investors under Part 6D.2 of the Act;
(2) as at the date of this notice Buka Gold has complied with the provisions of Chapter 2M of the Act as they apply to Buka Gold and section 674 of the Act; and
(3) as at the date of this notice there is no information that is excluded information under section 708A(7) and (8) of the Act that has not already been disclosed to investors generally.
