Buka Gold Limited ( Buka Gold , Company ) wishes to advise shareholders that it has received notice that CopperCo Limited (ASX:CUO), the ultimate holding company of Buka Minerals Pty Ltd, a substantial shareholder of the Company, entered voluntary administration on 27 November 2008.
Buka Minerals Pty Ltd holds a 47.2% interest in the Company.
The Board of Buka Gold advises that the entering into voluntary administration of CopperCo Limited does not impact the day to day operations of Buka Gold in any way.
Buka Gold further advises that it has no debt, funding or commercial obligations of any nature in relation to CopperCo Limited.
