ASX ANNOUNCEMENT, 14 AUGUST 2008

NOTIFICATION OF ISSUE AND ALLOTMENT OF UNDERWRITER SHARES

Buka Gold Limited (ASX Code: BKG) ( Buka Gold ) refers to its Offer Memorandum and Appendix 3B lodged with ASX on 1 July 2008 in relation to a one (1) for three (3) non-renounceable pro rata rights issue at an issue price of $0.10 per new Buka Gold share ( Rights Issue ).

As set out in the Offer Memorandum, the Rights Issue was partially underwritten for a total amount of $900,000. Buka Gold confirms that a total of 9,000,000 ordinary shares have been issued in accordance with the underwriting agreement, and holding statements for these shares will be dispatched today.
