ASX ANNOUNCEMENT, 14 AUGUST 2008

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 708A(5) OF THE CORPORATIONS ACT

Buka Gold Limited (ASX Code: BKG) ( Buka Gold ) hereby gives notice under section 708A(5)(e) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (the Act ) that Buka Gold has issued 9 million fully paid ordinary shares in accordance with the Underwriting Agreement for its recent 1 for 3 non-renounceable pro rata rights issue.

Buka Gold advises that:

• (1) the securities were issued without disclosure to investors under Part 6D.2 of the Act;

• (2) as at the date of this notice Buka Gold has complied with the provisions of Chapter 2M of the Act as they apply to Buka Gold and section 674 of the Act; and

• (3) as at the date of this notice there is no information that is excluded information under section 708A(7) and (8) of the Act that has not already been disclosed to investors generally.
