CENTRAL CHINA<00351> - Share Subdivision Market participants are requested to note that the shareholders of Central China Enterprises Limited ("CENTRAL CHINA") have approved the subdivision of shares on the basis of 1 then existing ordinary shares ("Old Shares") of CENTRAL CHINA into 10 new ordinary shares ("New Shares"). Effective from today (31/5/2004), a temporary counter under stock code 2921 and stock short name "CENTRAL CHINA" will be established for trading in board lots of 40,000 New Shares each to replace the previous counter (stock code: 351) for trading in board lots of 4,000 Old Shares each.
