Ctac NV and logistics specialist Prologys have founded a joint venture that focuses exclusively on process optimization in large scale warehouses. Ctac brings its extensive SAP expertise and a large customer base to the joint venture
Prologys has focused on warehouse logistics for many years and has extensive experience in the optimum deployment of SAP WM (Warehouse Management). The company managed very successful projects at among others KLM, Kenya Airways, Klaas Puul and Wavin Italy.
The new joint venture, of which the name is yet to be confirmed, now offers consultancy in warehouse optimization. Analysis plays an important role in this respect. By meticulously studying customer data, it is possible tot save up to 65 percent on space and thirty percent in time without drastic changes in processes. An additional fifty percent in savings is possible on operational costs by redesigning the picking process.

Ctac and Prologys start with the development of a generic application, which enables SAP WM users to optimize their warehouse processes. This new software application will be available as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) in the future.
Prologys was founded in 2001 by Jaap van Neerven. Prologys offers logistics consultancy services, based upon many years of expertise. The service offering focuses on optimizing SAP WM systems and adjusting warehouses to the client's operational needs. Prologys offers these services for existing and new warehouses. In addition, integration of these knowledge areas within a SAP environment plays and important role.
