Ctac completes acquisition of Alpha Belgium

SAP-services provider Ctac has completed the acquisition of 50.01% of the shares in Alpha Belgium. On 4 January 2006, Ctac announced it has signed a letter of intent with Alpha Belgium to this effect. The acquisition will allow Ctac to improve its services for Belgian clients based on its Powerhouse strategy. Under the name - Ctac Belgium - Ctac intends to set up a business model in Belgium which is comparable to that in the Netherlands.

Alpha Belgium is active in the Belgian market with three specialisations: Alphalogic for SAP Supply Chain Management, Planning & Execution, Alpha Square for SAP Service Management and Customer Relationship Management and Alpha Intelligence for Data Warehousing, including SAP Business Intelligence. Under the new name - Ctac Belgium - Ctac will set up and expand several specialist niche activities in the field of SAP comparable to the Dutch organisation. In this context, the various business units in the Netherlands and Belgium will be able to complement each other's strengths.

The operational execution of the hosting and technical management will be carried out by the Dutch Ctac business unit Application Management & Improvement. The functional management will be carried out by Ctac Belgium.

The acquisition in Alpha Belgium has been financed from Ctac's own resources. Consolidation will take place as from 1 January 2006.
