Sale of Ordinary Shares from Treasury and new Allotment

On 1 April 2021 BMO Capital and Income Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") sold from Treasury 150,000 ordinary shares of 25p each at a price of 314.25 pence per ordinary share.

The Company has also allotted 100,000 ordinary shares of 25p each from the Company's general corporate blocklisting facility also at a price of 314.25 per share. These shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares in issue and dealings are expected to commence on 7 April 2021.

Following this allotment, the Company has the ability to issue 5,777,246 ordinary shares under its blocklisting facility.

As a result of the sale and allotment, the total number of ordinary shares in issue will stand at 107,289,022 and the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 107,289,022.  No shares remain in Treasury.

The above figure (107,289,022) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
