The Board of Standard Life Private Equity Trust PLC announces that Ed Warner, the Chairman of the Company, intends to retire from the Board of the Company at close of business on Monday, 31 December 2018.

The Board wish to record their thanks to Ed for his outstanding advice and guidance over the last ten years, serving the Company as Director and Chairman.

Christina McComb will be appointed as Chair, having served on the Board since 2013.

Alan Devine will replace Christina as the Company's Senior Independent Director.
