Appointment of New Non-Executive Director
CSL Limited (ASX:CSL; USOTC:CSLLY) today announces the appointment of Ms Alison Watkins as an independent Non-executive Director, to be effective from 19 August 2021.
CSL’s Chair, Dr Brian McNamee AO said “We are delighted to welcome Alison, who brings deep experience to our Board as a non-executive director, an organisational leader and advisor across a range of businesses, including manufacturing, agriculture, retail and financial services. In particular, the Board will benefit from Alison’s financial stewardship and risk management experience, which will complement the balance of domain expertise across our Director group.”
Ms Watkins was most recently the Group Managing Director of ASX listed Coca-Cola Amatil Limited, where she was responsible for operations in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and across the South Pacific region.
From 2010-14 Ms Watkins was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of diversified ASX listed agribusiness, GrainCorp Limited.
Ms Watkins has served as a Non-executive Director of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, Woolworths Limited and Just Group Limited. She is currently a Director of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Centre for Independent Studies and the Business Council of Australia.
Ms Watkins holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is also a member of Chief Executive Women.
