C&S' major events in 2020
Coronavirus erupted in late 2019 in Wuhan, Hubei Province. It then spread rapidly throughout the country and the world. Amid the increasingly serious pandemic situation, the people of C&S control the spread of the virus. As a socially responsible enterprise, C&S cares about medical workers and ordinary people on the front lines. In 2020, COVID-19 spread across the globe, resulting in virtue of "cloud" methods such as WeChat, phone call, email and video conference, the Office of the Board of Directors continued were made to organize onsite investigations as well as online to enhance maintenance of relationship with investors. Construction and operation of facilities for pollution control and prevention
Observance of compliance obligation
The company and its subsidiaries strictly comply with environmental protection-related laws and regulations of national and local governments, the construction of all new projects strictly adheres to environmental impact assessment system, three "simultaneous" principles and production activities strictly observe the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste, and Action Plan for Prevention and Control of Water Pollution, with a view to ensuring that the treatment and emission of various pollutants complies with requirements of laws and regulations.
Establishment and operation of water treatment equipment and facilities
all subsidiaries are equipped with a complete set of environmental protection treatment equipment and facilities. Major technologies for sewage treatment include anaerobic, aerobiotic, subsequent deep processing technologies, which can make emission of sewage comply with various indicators. Additionally, all subsidiaries are equipped with water-recycling system so as to recycle water that complies with usage standards in production process and reduce emission of sewage as possible. Sewage of Jiangmen, Zhejiang, Hubei and Tangshan Companies will be treated in a centralized manner by the company and then discharged to local sewage-treatment plants before emission. Following centralized treatment at the via urban sewage pipe. After treatment at the sewage-treatment plant of the company, sewage company, sewage of Sichuan Company will be discharged to a local water-purification station of Yunfu Company will be discharged in an organized manner.
Online monitoring and operation of water treatment facilities
Yunfu, Sichuan, Zhejiang and Hubei subsidiaries have installed sewage online monitoring facilities, which are under direct supervision by local environmental protection bureaus. Following centralized treatment at the company, Tangshan Company will discharge sewage to local papermaking base sewage plant and no other outlet is available. Monitoring facilities are installed in the company as internal control reference. Following centralized treatment at the company, Jiangmen Company will discharge sewage to local papermaking base sewage plant and on other outlet is available. Online monitoring facilities are not installed.
