SUSPENSION OF TRADING

At the request of Wafer Systems Limited (the “ Company ”), trading in the shares of the Company will be suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. on 30 October 2007, pending the release of an announcement in relation to subscription of new shares in the Company.

As at the date of this announcement, the board of directors of the Company consists of one executive director, namely Mr. CHAN Sek Keung, Ringo, and three independent non-executive directors, namely Mr. PANG Hing Chung, Alfred, Mr. David TSOI and Mr. SO Lie Mo, Raymond.
