James Cropper Plc (the 'Company')

Issue of equity  

The Company announces that on 19 February 2019, it issued and allotted 2,405 new ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company ("Shares") pursuant to the exercise of SAYE Scheme options.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"), and it is expected that Admission will become effective and trading will commence at 8.00am on 27 February 2019.

Following Admission of the Shares the Company's enlarged issued share capital will comprise 9,554,803 ordinary shares. The Company does not hold any ordinary Shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of ordinary Shares in the Company will be 9,554,803. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
