Director Resignation

Further to the announcement made on 22 June 2021, James Cropper Plc (AIM:CRPR) announces the resignation of Martin Thompson as a Director with effect from 20 January 2022.

Martin joined the Company in 2003 as Managing Director of James Cropper Converting Ltd, before moving to the role of Managing Director for the TFP division in 2013, and was appointed to the Board of the Company in June 2013. Martin has been instrumental in the growth of the TFP division as well as supporting the wider strategic objectives of the Company. As announced on 4 November 2021, James Gravestock was appointed as an Executive Director of the Group, along with the role of Managing Director for the TFP division.

Mark Cropper, Chairman stated:

"I should like to thank Martin for his significant contribution over the past eighteen years, not least for his part in the growth of the TFP division. He has supported the new Managing Director for the TFP division since his appointment in November 2021, and will continue to support him until the end of April 2022 when he will leave employment with the Group for new ventures. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Martin for his service to the Group and his contribution to the Board."
