TRADING HALT

The securities of Cromwell Group (the “Group”) will be placed in pre-open at the request of the Group, pending the release of an announcement by the Group. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 14 July 2010 or when the announcement is released to the market.

RE: CROMWELL GROUP – REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, Cromwell Group (ASX: CMW) requests an immediate trading halt be granted by ASX with respect to its stapled securities from the commencement of trading on Monday, 12 July 2010 until the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 14 July 2010.

The trading halt is requested in connection with a proposed capital raising, including an institutional placement, to be announced by Cromwell to ASX before the commencement of trading on Monday, 12 July 2010.

The following information is provided in accordance with Listing Rule 17.1.

1. Reason for trading halt - to allow the institutional placement component of the capital raising to take place in an orderly manner.

2. Termination of trading halt – Cromwell anticipates that the trading halt will cease upon the earlier of :

   • a. an announcement to ASX concerning the outcome of the institutional placement component of the capital raising; and

   • b. commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 14 July 2010.

3. Duration of the trading halt – Cromwell expects to make an announcement to ASX concerning the outcome of the institutional placement component of the capital raising before the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 14 July 2010.

4. No reason – Cromwell is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.

5. Further information – none.
