Resignation of Director
Venture Minerals (ASX:VMS) (“Venture” or “the Company”) advises that Hamish Halliday has resigned as Non-Executive Director of the Company.
Mr Halliday was a Co-Founder of Venture and led the Company through the discovery of its flagship asset, the Mount Lindsay Tin/Tungsten Deposit. The Company wishes to acknowledge the contribution made to the Board and to the Company by Mr Halliday since 2009, which included his stewardship as Managing Director of the Company from April 2009 to December 2017 and more recently as a Non-Executive Director.
On behalf of each member of the Board and the management of the Company, I thank Mr Halliday for his dedicated years of service to Venture and wish him well as he focusses on his other leadership roles within the resource sector.
This announcement has been approved for release by the Chairman of the Board.
