RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 10th December 2014 it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 17,595 Ordinary Shares at prices between €11.18 and €18.7463 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £11.19 and £12.9574 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 3,796,703 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 740,729,233.
