RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 30th December 2015, it transferred to a participant in an employee share scheme 5,545 Ordinary Shares at a price of €21.5235 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 795,262 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 823,115,991.
