RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 9th December 2015, it transferred to participants in an employee share schemes 62,805 Ordinary Shares at prices between €13.64 and €26.1493 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 842,816 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 823,068,437.
