RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 19th August 2015, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 111,817 Ordinary Shares at prices between €13.64 and €26.1493 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £11.19 and £14.94 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 1,435,269 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 822,187,215.
