RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 26th June 2013, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 7,837 Ordinary Shares at prices of €12.82 and €15.0674 per Ordinary Share and at a price of £13.13 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 6,436,216 Ordinary Shares in

Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 729,396,392.
