RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 28 th May 2014 it transferred to a participant in an employee share scheme 8,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of €17.30 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 4,321,047 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 738,992,189.
