RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 22 nd November 2012 it transferred to the Trustees of its employee share participation schemes 106,232 Ordinary Shares at €13.89 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 7,685,636 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 726,135,807.
