Paris, 6 May 2009 - "Following the announcement of a shareholders' agreement signed by Crédit Agricole S.A. and Generali concerning their holding in Intesa Sanpaolo, Crédit Agricole S.A. has stated that this will lead to its investment being accounted for under the equity method from the second quarter of 2009."
