The contract, for which CPU Softwarehouse AG will develop, adapt and install a software solution, based on its standard software CPU-C5 Business Customer and provide training and maintenance for the same, is for several million DM and includes up to 100 financial institutes. First of all, our standard software for financial service companies, CPU-C5 Business Customer, will be adapted to meet the individual requirements of the client. In conclusion, another product, CPU-C5 Private Customer, will be further developed for the client. The agreed services will be completed to contract in the year 2000 and are also, according to the CPU Board of Directors, the breakthrough for the licensing business with CPU-C5, the strategic standard software product, into the financial services branch. With the branch offices opened in 1999: South (Augsburg), North (Berlin), Central (Frankfurt), Poland (Warsaw), Czech Republic (Prague), Hungary (Budapest), Austria (Vienna), the subsidiaries in Switzerland and the subsidiaries planned for the future, CPU Softwarehouse AG will convince further national and international public sector financial service organisations of the benefits of the CPU-C5 standard software, as part of the Key Account Management strategy, during the year 2000.
