Die CPU Softwarehouse AG, Augsburg, einer der führenden Hersteller von Standardsoftware für Finanzdienstleister, übernimmt rückwirkend zum 01.01.1999 die MWB Gesellschaft für Unternehmensplanung und Managementberatung mbH in Meerbusch. Die Hauptgeschäftsfelder der MWB sind das Sachkostenmanagement und die Beratung von Vertriebsprojekten für Finanzdienstleister. Der Kundenkreis umfaßt Banken und Sparkassen in Deutschland. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt zur Zeit ca. 7 Mitarbeiter und plant für das Geschäftsjahr 2000 ca. 2.920 TDM (890 TDM in 1999). Mit dieser Akquisition deckt die CPU die bisher nicht besetzte allgemeine Bankberatung professionell ab. Die CPU rundet durch die Akquisition der MWB Beratung ihr Gesamtleistungsprofil ab und stärkt ihre Position als kompetenter Partner von Finanzdienstleistern. Dies erleichtert den Ausbau ihrer Marktposition und die Erschließung von weiteren Marktanteilen im In- und Ausland. Der Firmenstandort der MWB GmbH in Meerbusch soll mit allen Mitarbeitern erhalten und vergrößert werden. Der Kaufpreis für die MWB GmbH in Höhe von 4,5 Mio DM wird durch die Ausgabe von 36.616 neuen Stückaktien aus dem genehmigten Kapital finanziert. CPU Softwarehouse AG, Augsburg, one of the leading producers of standard software for financial s ervice companies, has acquired the MWB Corporation for Business Planning and Management Consultancy mbH in Meerbusch, with retroactive effect from 01.01.1999. The main focus of MWB business is material cost management and sales project consultancy for financial service companies. The customers include banks and savings banks in Germany. The company currently employs approx. 7 staff and plans a turnover of approx. 2.920 KDM (890 KDM in 1999)for the business year 2000. With this acquisition CPU now professionally covers the previously uncovered field of general banking advice. CPU round off their overall service portfolio with the acquisition of MWB and strengthen their position as competent partner for financial service companies. This makes the expansion of their market position and the development of further market shares at home and abroad easier. The location of MWB GmbH in Meerbusch should be maintained with all staff and expanded further.
