Zu seinen primären Aufgaben zählt die strategische Neuausrichtung der 1981 gegründeten Finance Software Company. Der ausgewiesene Finanzfachmann blickt auf 30 Jahre Erfahrung im Bankenumfeld zurück. Seit 1969 für den Deutsche Bank Konzern tätig, wechselte er 1996 in den Vorstand der Bank 24, für deren Aufbau und Positionierung er maßgeblich verantwortlich zeichnete. Zuletzt war er als Generalbevollmächtigter der Deutschen Ausgleichsbank tätig. Im Rahmen des durch die Neuausrichtung der CPU eingeleiteten Veränderungsprozesses stellt die CPU Software AG derzeit Unternehmensvisionen, Ziele und Strategien auf den Prüfstand. Ziel ist es, das Leistungsportfolio und die Organisation den Anforderungen des Marktes anzupassen. Finanzielle Reserven in Höhe von rund 70 Millionen DM (Stichtag 31.3.2000) lassen die CPU den Wandel aus einer Position der Stärke angehen. Bernd Erlingheuser assumes the post of spokesman of the CPU Softwarehouse AG Executive Board with immediate effect. His primary duties will include the strategic realignment of the Finance Software Company, established in 1981. The respected financial expert can look back on 30 years of experience in the banking sector. From 1969 onwards, he worked for the Deutsche Bank Group and, in 1996, moved on to become a member of the Bank 24 Executive Board. The construction and positioning of the same were, to a great extent, his responsibly. More recently, he was General Manager of the Deutsche Ausgleichsbank. As part of the change processes initiated by the realignment of CPU, CPU Softwarehouse AG is currently closely examining company visions, goals and strategies. The target is to adjust the product and service portfolio and the organisation to meet the requirements of the market. Financial reserves to the sum of 70 million DM (set date March 31th 2000) enable CPU to tackle the changes from a position of strength.
