APPOINTMENT OF GROUP GENERAL MANAGER - AUTOMOTIVE

Coventry Group Ltd (CGL) announces that it has appointed Mr Don Beisley to the position of Group General Manager Automotive.

Following CGL's release to the market on 15 June 2005 of a restructure of the automotive division it was announced that an extensive search for the recruitment of a new General Manager would be undertaken.

Mr Beisley, 45, joins CGL from Bunnings Pty Ltd where he was General Manager - Western Region for the past 10 years. He has held a number of senior management positions within the Bunnings organisation.

Mr Beisley brings a wealth of experience to CGL's automotive business unit, especially in the areas of trade and retail sales, merchandising and sourcing as well as warehousing and distribution.

Mr Beisley's knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations will significantly enhance the the automotive division's leadership.
