Mr Warwick Kent, Chairman of Coventry Group Ltd, today has announced the appointment of Mr Chris Glenn as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company with effect from 3 February, 2003. Mr Barry Watson, the current Managing Director, has agreed to delay his already announced retirement until 31 January 2002.

Mr Glenn, 44, has held the appointment of General Manager, Fire and Safety at Tyco International, based in Sydney, since the end of last year. In his role he has been responsible for a business operating in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji and employing some 3000 staff and with a turnover approaching \$500 million. Prior to that he was General Manager, Security Services with Tyco. Previous appointments have included General Manager Energy Services and, later, General Manager Customer Operations Group at Integral Energy, and National Marketing Manager, Wormald Security Australia.

Mr Glenn holds a Diploma in Applied Science and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Charles Sturt University, and an MBA from the University of Technology, Sydney.
