Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

On December 21, 2021, Cousins Properties Incorporated (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing two strategic transactions in the Downtown Austin submarket. The Company purchased the remaining 50% interest from its partners in 300 Colorado, a 369,000 square foot office building, and sold 816 Congress, a 435,000 square foot office building. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

This press release shall not be deemed "filed" with the Securities and Exchange Commission; nor incorporated by reference in any registration statement filed by the Company under the Securities Act of 1993, as amended.
