Costain Group PLC ("the Company") announces that on 07 December 2017, Paul Golby transferred 35,000 ordinary shares of 50 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), representing 0.033% of the Company's issued share capital, to his spouse Elizabeth Golby for nil consideration.  Following the transfer, the total beneficial interest of Paul Golby and persons closely associated with him in the Ordinary Shares remains unchanged at 35,000 shares, representing 0.033% of the Company's issued share capital.
