Appointment of non-executive director

Costain is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Crockett as an independent non-executive director with effect from 6 October 2021. Neil will be a member of the Company's audit, remuneration and nomination committees.

Neil held several global, European and UK leadership positions with Cisco Systems and was Chief Digital Officer at Rolls-Royce from 2016 to 2018 where, in partnership with business unit leaders, he accelerated the development of the group's digital strategy. Neil also has strong experience of the wider UK digital innovation community and was the founding CEO of Digital Catapult, a UK Government funded digital innovation organisation.

Neil is also a member of the Board of Trustees and chair of the risk committee at Barnardo's and a non-executive director of Catalyst, a not-for-profit organisation accelerating innovation and growth in the Northern Ireland knowledge economy. Neil is a member of the Queen's Awards for Enterprise Innovation category panel.
