$1.0 million of customer wins

Corero Network Security plc (AIM: CNS), the network security company, is pleased to announce two new customer wins for its SmartWall® DDoS protection product and an additional purchase from an existing customer, totaling $1.0 million over the course of the contracts.

The new customers are as follows:

·    a US regional service provider of internet and telephony services to business and private customers. The order is for multiple SmartWall 10Gbps solutions with a supporting one-year contract for SecureWatch® services; and 

·    a US-based provider of hosting, data protection and colocation services,  who will deploy SmartWall 10Gbps products at a number of its sites with a supporting three-year contract for SecureWatch® services.

The deployment of these Corero SmartWall solutions will enable these customers to provide DDoS protected services to their end-user customers, which is an important part of their respective offerings given the increasing threat of and growth in DDoS attacks.

The additional order is from an existing SaaS customer for SmartWall 10Gbps solutions with a supporting three-year contract for SecureWatch® services, forming part of the customer's ongoing global deployment.
