Corero Network Security plc (AIM: CNS), the AIM listed network security company, is pleased to announce an order for its SmartWall® Threat Defense System ("SmartWall TDS") from a US-based web hosting services provider.

Valued at $0.3 million, the order follows a successful Proof of Concept trial during which Corero was able to demonstrate the effectiveness of automatic, in-line, real-time DDoS protection for this customer's web and business communication services business. The solution comprises multiple Corero SmartWall TDS products deployed in the customer's global data centres, with supporting SecureWatch® services for one year.
