European Tier 1 Internet Service Provider Contract Win

Corero Network Security plc (AIM: CNS), the AIM listed network security company, is pleased to announce the first order for its SmartWall® Threat Defense System ("SmartWall TDS") from a European Tier 1 Internet Service Provider ("ISP").

The order, valued at $0.7 million, is to provide in-line, real-time Distributed Denial of Service ("DDoS") protection as a service for one of the ISP's high profile customers. The solution, which is a full production deployment, comprises Corero SmartWall TDS products deployed at diverse network access locations with supporting SecureWatch® services for a three-year period.

Ashley Stephenson, CEO of Corero, commented:

"This order is truly a landmark deal for Corero, representing the Company's first entry into the European Tier 1 ISP market and its largest SmartWall sales order to date. It follows the announcement of our first North American Tier 1 ISP deal last month and is further validation of our strategy to invest in the technically demanding but high growth service provider security market.
