Corero secures orders for multi-year security services and

100Gbps products totalling over $1.0 million  

Corero Network Security plc (AIM: CNS), the network security company, is pleased to announce that it has secured three customer orders totaling over $1.0 million, which includes:

·     $0.5 million expansion order for Corero's SmartWall® Threat Defense System ("SmartWall") 100Gbps technology from an existing customer;

·     $0.3 million DDoS Protection as a Service ("DDPaaS") order with a new global hosting and colocation provider customer; and

·     $0.2 million support and SecureWatch managed security services contract renewal. 

The expansion order, which includes multiple SmartWall 100Gbps products with supporting SecureWatch® services for one year, will protect the customer's cloud security offering following its upgrade to 100Gbps internet connectivity in its data centres. 

The new DDPaaS contract, which is Corero's largest single DDPaaS customer to date, is a three year agreement for Corero to deliver DDoS protection services for the customer's data centres in the US, Australia and Asia.

The SecureWatch contract marks the fourth consecutive year that this digital enterprise customer has renewed. The agreement will see Corero continue to supply support and SecureWatch managed security services for the customer's SmartWall installation, which provides always-on real-time DDoS mitigation to protect the customer's online business.
