Grant of share options
Corero Network Security plc (AIM: CNS), a leading provider of real-time, high-performance, automatic Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) cyber defense solutions, announces options were granted on 26 January 2021 over a total of 3,545,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company to Group employees and to the Directors of the Company (the "Options") under existing share option schemes in the amounts set out below.
The Options carry an exercise price of 13.00 pence per ordinary share, which equates to the closing mid-market price of an Ordinary Share on 25 January 2021, and vest in equal proportions on the first, second and third anniversaries of the date of grant. The Options are exercisable from vesting until the tenth anniversary of grant. Any new Ordinary Shares issued pursuant to the exercise of the Options may not be sold or otherwise transferred until the second anniversary of the date of being granted.

In addition to the grant of the above Options to the Directors, and the grant of 1,325,000 of the Options to other Corero persons discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMRs") as set out below, 320,000 of the Options were granted to other Group employees.
Following the grant of Options, the Company has now granted a total of Options over 51,731,439 new Ordinary Shares, representing 10.5% of the Company's current issued ordinary share capital.
