Appointment of new Chairman

Exoma Energy Limited (ASX: EXE) advises that due to health reasons Mr Brian Barker has decided to step down as Chairman of the Board. He will continue to act as a non‐executive director. The Board has appointed Mr Jeffrey Forbes as independent non‐executive Chairman of the Board in Mr Barker’s place. Mr Forbes has a proven track record as a public company chairman and director with a background in M&A, debt and equity markets and strong experience in the resources sector.

Incoming Chairman of the Board, Mr Jeffrey Forbes said:

“I would like to thank Mr Barker for his leadership of the Company over the past five years. I am looking forward to working with the Board to identify growth opportunities for the Company over the coming months”.

About Mr Jeffrey Forbes

Mr Forbes holds a Bachelor of Commerce. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Directors (GAICD) and a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM). Mr Forbes is currently the non‐executive Chairman of Talon Petroleum Limited and is a non‐executive Director of Affinity Education Group Limited and CMI Limited.

Previously Mr Forbes has held the positions of CFO, Executive Director and Company Secretary of Cardno Limited and CFO & Executive Director of Highlands Pacific Limited. Prior to joining Cardno Mr Forbes worked in the mining and resources sector for over 30 years and has significant experience in the financing and development of resource projects in both Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Mr Forbes has held senior positions domestically and internationally in a number of major companies including Rio Tinto, BHP and CSR.
