Exoma Signs Up Second Drill Rig for extensive 2012 Shale Oil, CSG and Oil Drilling Program

Exoma Energy Limited (ASX: EXE) is pleased t o announce that it h a s engaged a second d rill rig for its extensive 2012 Galilee B a sin explo r ation prog r am in Ce n tral Queensland. T his progr a m is bein g conducte d on behalf of the Galilee Joint V e nture (Exoma 50%, C NOOC Ga s & Power 50%).

Exoma has cont r acted Ene r gy Drilling Australia ( E DA), a su b sidiary of A usdrill Li m ited (ASL), to provi d e a Fore m ost Explor e r III-65 drill rig and crew to drill between 4 and 8 co r e wells in the Galilee Joint Ve n ture acre a ge. The rig is expec t ed to mob i lise to site on 21 April and the f irst well, A lma-1, is e xpected to spud on 2 5 April, 201 2 .

Alma - 1 is located in ATP 9 96, appro x imately 1 0 0 kilometr e s north of Longreac h . The well is targeting both th e Permian c oal measures and th e overlying T oolebuc s h ale.

As re p orted on 2 8 February 2012, E x oma has a lso contra c ted anoth e r EDA-ow n ed rig to d rill throu g hout 2012 on a series of CSG, shale liqui d s/gas and conventio n al oil targets. This ri g is curre n tly underg o ing accep t ance trials in EDA’s T oowoomba yard and i s expected to mobilis e to site in early May.
