Appointment of US General Manager
Exoma Energy’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce it has boosted its US management with the appointment of James (Jim) N. Dettl as General Manager, based in its Dallas office.
Jim Dettl has more than 25 years of accounting and financial experience in the U.S. oil and gas industry, working with exploration and production companies which were focused in Exoma’s prime area of interest ‐ Texas and Oklahoma.
His major strengths include financial information preparation, management reporting, annual audit coordination, automated systems implementation, and office and human resource management. Mr Dettl holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas and has held senior level positions in both international and domestic energy companies.
Exoma’s Managing Director David Rowbottam said: “The appointment of Jim Dettl has cemented the company’s senior management structure in the United States, and complements the recent appointment of Exoma’s US‐based Exploration Vice‐President. We are very pleased to have an executive with the experience of Mr Dettl join the Company.”
