Item 8.01 Other Events.

On June 6, 2013, Core Molding Technologies Inc. announced that it has begun efforts to replace its Chief Financial Officer, Herman F. Dick, Jr., who informed the Company of his intention to leave his current position in the next few months in order to join the ministry.

The press release announcing this transition is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
