Regency Mines Plc announces the acquisition, for nominal consideration, of a 20% interest in the Black Creek coal property located in Alabama, United States of America, in the Warrior Coal Basin.

Key Highlights:

·     Northeast of the 20% owned Carbon Minerals Corporation's Rosa metallurgical coal mine

·     A permitted area of 287 acres in six increments with a target of 2m tons of extractable metallurgical grade coal

·     Similar metallurgical coal qualities to Rosa coals

Andrew Bell, Chairman of Regency Mines, comments: "This addition of coal assets within trucking distance of the Rosa preparation plant creates additional future production and blending options, including for the production of high value specialist coals, and secures an additional source of high quality coal".
