Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 4 March 2009 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Trading Halt Request
Graynic Metals Ltd ("Graynic") hereby requests a Trading Halt from ASX effective immediately, pending an announcement regarding a potential material Joint Venture agreement.
Graynic requests the Trading Halt from receipt of the request until the release of the announcement. It is anticipated that this announcement will be made no later than opening of business on 4th March 2009.
Graynic is not aware of any other information necessary to inform the market about the Trading Halt.
