Graynic: Board Appointment

Graynic Metals Limited (Graynic) (ASX: GYN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Charles Stephen Mark (Mark) Fletcher to the Graynic Board of Directors. Mr Fletcher is currently the Exploration Manager for Graynic and will join the Board as an Executive Director.

Mr Fletcher’s appointment to the Board represents a key step forward in the company’s corporate development and his expertise will be of significant importance to Graynic’s exploration and project development programs.

Mr Fletcher brings considerable exploration experience to the Board. He currently has responsibility for all exploration activities and technical advice for the Company. In addition, he is also working closely with the Board to identify new project opportunities on which to focus the Company’s efforts.

Mr Fletcher joined Graynic from BHP Billiton where he was Project Leader – Base Metal and Bulk Commodities, for the Australia South Asia Region and had responsibility for greenfields base metals exploration in the Olympic Dam area, regional base metals exploration and bulk commodities projects (manganese, coal and bauxite) in Australia and the South Asia region.

Prior to working with BHP Billiton Mr Fletcher had 12 years experience with WMC Resources and was Senior Geoscientist at WMC at the time of the takeover by BHP Billiton. He has extensive nickel and gold exploration, and mineral resource delineation experience in the Agnew-Wiluna Greenstone belt and across the Yilgarn terrane.

Mr Fletcher has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Geology from RMIT, Victoria, a Masters in Science in Ore Deposit Geology and Evaluation from the University of Western Australia and is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Geoscientists, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
