Graynic Appoints Senior BHP Billiton Geologist

Graynic Metals Limited (“Graynic” ASX:GYN) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mark Fletcher as Exploration Manager for Graynic. Mark has joined Graynic from BHP Billiton where he was Project Leader – Base Metal and Bulk Commodities , for the Australia South Asia Region. In that role Mark was responsible for management of the team exploring for base metal deposits close to Olympic Dam, regional base metals exploration, and bulk commodities projects (manganese, coal and bauxite) within Australia and various countries within the South Asia region.

Mark has over 15 years experience in the mining industry; twelve of those with resource majors BHP Billiton and WMC Resources. Mark was the Senior Geoscientist with WMC Resources at the time of the takeover by BHP Billiton, and was responsible for the discovery of the Olympia nickel sulphide prospect at Collurabbie, WA. In addition he has undertaken extensive nickel and gold exploration and mineral resource delineation within the Agnew-Wiluna Greenstone belt and across the Yilgarn terrane.

Mark has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Geology from RMIT, Victoria, a Masters in Science in Ore Deposit Geology and Evaluation from the University of Western Australia and is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Geoscientists.

Mark’s broad range of experience from mine geology, resource delineation and estimation, to brownfield and greenfields exploration will be invaluable to Graynic as it moves to progress its base metals projects in the Pilbara and New South Wales. The Board of Graynic is delighted to welcome Mark to the Graynic team and looks forward to working with him on Graynic’s existing projects, as well as the identification of further potential projects for the Company. Mark commences with Graynic on 1 November 2007.
