Description

The securities of Control Bionics Limited (‘CBL’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of CBL, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 23 September 2024 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt for Control Bionics Limited

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, Control Bionics Limited (ASX: CBL) requests a trading halt pending a proposed placement and subsequent rights issue, the terms of which are being finalized.

A number of parties have been approached with respect to the proposed placement and it may be possible that the market as a whole is not properly informed.

The trading halt is requested until the commencement of trade on Monday 23 September 2024. The announcement of the of the placement by that point should allow the trading halt to be lifted.

There is no other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt. The Company is not aware of any reasons as to why the trading halt should not be granted.
