The Schaeffler Group notified us today of the termination of the Investment
Agreement dated August 20, 2008. This Agreement was concluded between
Continental AG on the one hand and the Schaeffler Group and its
shareholders on the other hand, with former German chancellor Dr. Gerhard
Schröder as guarantor. The Investment Agreement will therefore expire at
the end of May 13, 2014.
