Pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG we hereby notify for and on behalf of
the Government of Singapore, acting by and through Ministry of Finance,
Singapore, Singapore, that its indirect voting rights in Continental AG,
Vahrenwalder Str. 9, 30165 Hanover, Germany, has fallen below the threshold
of 3% on March 16 2012 and amounted to 2,90% (5,808,371 voting rights) of
the voting rights of Continental AG as per this date, all of which are
attributed to the Government of Singapore pursuant to section 22 para. 1
sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG via the following entity which is wholly owned by it
and whose holding of voting rights in Continental AG have also fallen below
3%:

Government of Singapore Investment Corporation Pte Ltd.

Furthermore, of the aforesaid 2.90% (5,808,371 voting rights) of the voting
rights in Continental AG, 2.17% (4,349,462 voting rights) are also
attributed to the Government of Singapore pursuant to section 22 para. 1
sentence 1 no. 2 WpHG.
